Good tent, easy setup

I bought the Rev Tent Ground Tent last month for a weekend trip and it worked out really well. Setting it up was pretty straightforward, even for just one person. The built-in mattress was surprisingly comfy, much better than sleeping on the ground in my old tent. It took about 6 days for it to ship to me in California, which was fine. Overall, I'm happy with it.

Is the Rev Awning or Rev Annex better for extra space?

R RoomyCamper 4 hours ago ✓ Best Answer
Awning is quick shade/rain cover. Annex is actual enclosed room for changing/storage.

So if I want a private space, Annex?

B BudgetBuddy 2 hours ago
Awning is cheaper too, right?

L LongStayGuy 5 hours ago
Depends on your needs. Annex is way more useful if you're staying put for a bit.

I went with the Rev Roof Rack first, then added the platform later. Worked well.

You could also do a Rev Tent Roof Top Tent if you have a rack. More versatile.

True, but I like being in the bed.

Does anyone know if C6 Outdoor ever has good sales? I'm eyeing a Rev Tent but it's a bit out of my budget right now. Should I wait for Memorial Day or something?

J James Torres 2 months ago
They definitely do! I got my Rev Rack during their Black Friday sale last year, saved a good chunk. Memorial Day or Labor Day are usually good bets for holiday sales too, 10-15% off usually.
4
N Neil Romero 2 months ago
Yeah, I think they do. I heard about some bundle deals during holiday sales, so if you're looking at accessories too, that might be the way to go. Otherwise, 10-15% is typical for codes, but sales can be better.
